Steelblood

Calling all self-proclaimed mangaka!

Steelblood

*deep breath*

All right; this isn't easy for me...but I'm finished with my manga site (I think...:stressed: ) and I've put up the first chapter for viewing. At this point, I'm not too sure how much constructive criticism I want...LOL ^^ Although I will ask to you to bear in mind that these pages were my first; the newer pencils are much better...^^ And these are just a hair cluttered. The newer pages are much better about that...heh, like I said, this is my first real manga and I didn't have loads of reference material like I do now...;)

One more thing. I didn't get my commission section done (thus the dead link), so if anyone wants one, please PM me.

http://www.krazyboodle.com/ink/

Uh...did I mention that showing people my stuff makes me nervous, even after prayer?

So what are your plans for the manga Ink??? Once it is established are you gonna make merchandise? (and can your host handle a lot of traffic? ;) )

LOL! Yes, my host is ready and waiting for the traffic...;) :P I don't plan to sell the manga or anything; I want everyone to be able to read this one in particular for free. (Though I may sell other manga series on down the line) Merchandise!...hmm...LOL That would be cool...I haven't given it much thought. I guess it's whatever you guys want...^^

BTW, if everyone likes the way this one runs, there are plans for a sequel...:P I just haven't decided what all happens yet.

Thanks for the comments, guys! ;) They really mean a lot to me. (read: inspires me to write sequels...;))

Quite good. I'll certainly read more as it becomes available. :thumb:
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

Looks great! ^_^

Maybe, if you want to sell other manga that you do sometime down the road, you should look into getting it published in Anime Angels' Mangazine. Just a suggestion. ^_^

I loved the art, the story, and the fact that you left us all hanging. ... no, wait ...
Seriously, hours upon hours of work obviously went into the manga and the web design. Steelblood is definitely a visual example for the word "quality." And she made it nice and fast for ever slow internet connections! I hope you get the fanbase you deserve, and through that God is going to get the glory! Awesome job, Ink!

Yeah, you can clear up that space if you want to. I just really needed to have instant access to the files, and there was no point in pestering you all the time when I had perfectly good webspace (and brains enough to know how much bandwidth I had per month...*rolls eyes at herself*).

IRIEL WILL RULE WITH AN IRON FIST!

Aw, I'm sure it's not that bad, Benu. It's the fact that you're trying that's most important.

Hey, does anybody want to do some link exchanges to help me get the word out about my site?

There are several different types of linkie things here:

http://www.krazyboodle.com/ink/linktome.html (I took it out of the frame, LOL)

Anybody who sees this and wants to link to me, just let me know here, or in a pm, or however's convenient for you, so I know what URL to put on my page. ;)

Oh, and if anyone wants to use my sig banner, that's ok too. Just any ol graphic I have lying around is fine...;) Or you could even make your own, doesn't make that much difference to me...:)

The funny thing is, I'm cast as this character, and I'm not even sure I'm pronouncing my name correctly....ugh,then again, let's not even mention the Reh-va-lyn vs. Rye-va-lyn.....*groans*

Sweet! Thanks! I'm heading out in about an hour, so I'll take care of all links when I get back.

And best to my knowledge, the proper pronunciation is Ry-va-lin. :P And Iriel is like Ariel with an I. Hope that clears things up!

nota bena:
if you were wondering why I'm used so often in connexion with Iriel, it's because I was cast as her in the radio production. Inkhana is the voice of Kyla, hence her avatar. And Rose is the voice of Sydonia....I don't know what ever happend to this project, but I DO know I spent a good 4-5 hours saying lines that all had a mispronounced name *groan*
