The Trigun manga was first published in 1996. The anime series came out in Japan in 1998.

I like Vash, he's "such a nice, dependable guy."

But still, he's got a lot of good qualities. He's modest, has respect for human life, helps people in need, knows how to have fun, and loves donuts.

I found the plotline in Trigun interesting as well. Starting off goofy, but getting more serious eventually.

My favorites were Vash and Milly, definitely.

Milly and Wolfwood...my fav anime couple so far. Wolfwood was without a doubt my favorite anime char of all time. 'sides, I agreed more with his outlook on things...I would go on...but it would spoil for people who have not seen the whole series. In a nutshell...No he was not wrong in what he did. *wink*

Hmm. I'd say my favorite characters for *what they were* were Rem and Milly.

My favorites for other reasons :jump: :red: :jump: are Wolfwood and Legato.

By the way, what's your favorite episode(s)?

In the previous question, I really loved Wolfwood, but Vash is still my boy. Hmm, favorite episode...probably part 2 of the "beneath the wasteland sky" or something like that. Where Vash faces off agianst BDN. Definately a great one.

I dunno which is my favorite.... I like Alternative, b/c it's so happy up until the end. I also like Paradise, but it's so sad!!! I don't really have a favorite character....although I really like Vash, he's not really my fave. I knbow no one ever picks Meryl, but I really like her, b/c even though she always so serious and work, work, work, she still has a good heart, I think. Oh, and b/c I'm a workaholic like her. -.-; Anyway, there ya go!

My favorite characters are Wolfwood and Legato.

Wolfwood because he's too cool for, umm...mass? Plus he has one of the COOLEST ANIME WEAPONS EVAR! Plus I loved his big scene at the end. I cried at that scene. Seriously.

Legato because, well, he's Legato. He isn't jsut your typical villain, he has this "I can kill everyone within a seven mile radius without lifting a finger and it would be fun" style to him that has this weird appeal. He always seems to be in control of everything. You never see him not know what to do. He's the man with the plan!

Nicholas D. Woolfwood was the best. And on the subject of characters, what was the name Vash identified himself as the first time he met Woolfwood on the bus? It was so funny to hear him go on and on like that.

BTW, the VA for Vash and the VA for Kiba in Wolf's Rain are one and the same. And the characters are alot alike, too.

man i really liked all the characters but i'd have to go with vash and wolfwood as my favs (although legato still is the coolest anime villian ever i just can't logically 'like' villians) my favorite episode would have to be "Quick Draw" vash and wolfwood facing off.... i could not stop laughing the whole time, although i adore "Paradise" even if it makes me tear up.
I don't sleep in class i just take really long blinks :wow!:
