CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Hello all! Sorry if there is already a review on this, but I couldn't find one that answered my question.

So I'm 2 episodes in right now, and there's mention of being "spirited away by demons." As a Christian, this is pretty not okay if it continues... I'm not a fan of giving demons any of my time! But I've also seen that the word is a mistranslation.

My question is: is this a series in which demons are of influence? And if so, how much (on a scale 1-10, 1 being the least)?

From what I can remember, actual demons don't really feature. Atria35 elaborates a bit in this post in the review thread.

SPOILER: Highlight text to read: There are no demons. Its all local folklore and myths, kind of like the monster under the bed and Bloody Mary and all that jazz. I cannot say any more than that because it would be giving away virtually all of the plot and what's really going on.
