Which type of theme song for dubbed animes do you prefer?
Japanese Left Intact: The series is fully dubbed into English, but the original theme songs (opening/endings) present in the Japanese version are left intact. Examples: Fullmetal Alchemist, Naruto (later seasons), all series of Gundam (except Zeta), and almost all anime for mature audiences.
Japanese dubbed: The theme song follows the same melody as the Japanese version, but the words are changed to English, and sometimes even the whole meaning.
Examples: Blue Gender, One Piece (Funimation, except OP5/ED5), Case Closed/Detective Conan (OP/ED 1 and 2), Dragon Ball (US dub), Beyblade Metal Fusion, DBZ Kai, Sailor Moon.
Alternative Foreign: The theme song is replaced with an entirely different song.
Examples: Pokemon, Digimon, Speed Grapher, Saint Seiya, Zeta Gundam, any 4kids property, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT (USA), Naruto (OP 1/2).
