Hey people! DBZ movies question

Postby islandjunky » Wed Jun 06, 2007 3:22 pm

Hello,

Well, because I'm an unknowledgeable person in the way of DBZ, I was hoping one of you smart people could direct me to one of the better movies? (because I don't want to spend $300 on the show)

I have no idea whether or not to get the movies or just to get the highlights of the show, such as the cell or something like that. . . Advice anyone? ?

Thanks

Well first off I certainly wish I had $300 to throw around like that when I was 15!

I think though you should get something that would introduce you to the main characters if you're new to the series.

Yeah, I might have that "much", but I had to earn it. . . every filthy penny. . .

I know the basics of the show, I was just looking for something that had "flashy lights and explosions". (so I didn't want the episodes when the dude was a little kid, not much power to throw around here. . .)

Oh no! ! ! I just know saw the thread started by Godly paladin! ! ! Sooo sorry people. . . (head shakes as I make yet another mistake. . .)

if you're REALLY looking for some DBZ material, then you should visit that other thread that you already spotted (as you said in your post above...), but if you want to find another good anime with "flashy lights and explosions" you could make a request in the Anime Recommendations section.

Yeah, I was thinking about doing that, but isn't DBZ like the "father" of "flashy lights and explosions"?? Also, honestly, does anyone really look at the Anime Recommendations thread? (honestly now. . .)
