Yep, that's it. It didn't get renewed for a second season, which is too bad. I really enjoyed the music for the anime.

They do have a manga series, but it's significantly more fan-servicey than the anime, if that's a concern for you.

I really enjoyed this anime as well (although the fan service level is a bit excessive) x_x Aren't you glad it ended like that rather then some stupid/rushed/made up ending that is different from the manga? I hate it when they do that!

I'm gonna second Kokoro that there is a manga that continues the story and I have several friends who have raved about it, but yeah the fan service level is even higher in the manga.

Stupid question: is this the same as Air? With the little blonde girl and the puppet guy and the raven?

No.
Air Gear is a shonen action title involving kids and teens on rollar blades.
Air is a bishoujo title based on a visual novel.

Well that's an unglorified way of describing it. XD Technically they are "super powered rollar blades" actually since they have a motor built inside them so you can do cool things like go up walls and jump SUPER high in the air. People form teams so they can of course battle to become the best, etc. (it is a shonen title after all).

Actually, I almost added superpowered or a comparable adjective to my description...
I have read several chapters of the manga. It looked decent enough.

I don't know why ADV rated it TV-MA...There are only a few scenes of nudity but only the adult sister. But it has heavy language for the dub.

i haven't seen the anime but i did manage to read the first volume of the manga. i should've expected that it would be fanservice-filled since the mangaka is Oh Great!

"Believers do not pray with the view of informing God about things unknown to Him, or of exciting Him to do His duty, or of urging Him as though He were reluctant. I've read pretty much all the manga at this point, but seen none of the anime but brief samples. I figure in this case it isn't worth seeing the same events again.

As others have said, the level of fanservice is high. I liked it enough to read it, but I wouldn't consider the plot or quality all that impressive. Light reading, but ultimately nothing very deep or well-planned (though the figurative jury is still out on this).

I the episode that came with Feburary's Newtype USA Magazine--and I have to say I'm pretty darn underwhelmed. The opening theme reminded me of Beyblade and the plotline echo's same. The main character in the dub used a little too much profanity for me (I tend to watch dubs with the subs underneath) and he was a little to genki (energetic, hyperactive) for me. For some reason, I get the feeling that some of the girls in this one are just there for fanservice.

Overall, not something I would invest $18-20 a DVD for. MAYBE $10-15.
