Mermaid Forest OK??

I was wondering if anyone has seen this anime and could tell me if their is questionable content: sex, relationships between kids/adults, swearing ect. I saw the preview for and it looked good, but I want to make sure. Thanks :)

Just in case some of what I share may be considered spoilers:
Save for the images of the mermaids themselves there is not a whole lot in the way of nudity or fanservice. There is some mild language throughout. The main concern I have is that this is a very dark series. Violence is very high given the fact that some who have eaten mermaid flesh are immortal. They can be killed, however, they return to life (which happens over the course of the show) except in the case of beheading. Perhaps the most disturbing parts of the title are contained in the last volume. It is very bloody and I found it extremely disturbing in regard to the image of a child seeking to kill several of the characters. This is definitely not the Little Mermaid in any way, shape or form.
That sounds like definitely not what I saw, but it might be interesting. Maybe. I just don't want a repeat of Love Hina. I turned it off after the fifth time in one episode of the charactar getting in a "compromising" situation.

Thanks for the info :)
