Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone has heard of the fourth season of Fushigi Yugi? I know its coming out but I just don't know when. If anyone knows please reply.

lol I'm still on the second season of Fushigi Yuugi, so I'm all lost. There's a fourth season? That's awesome! haha I duno... I just started watching FY ^^

There's a fourth season of FY?! Is this manga or anime? I'm assuming anime . . . That's soooooo cool! I have been reading the manga and am in the process of getting the anime. Oooo can't wait!

Well I have watch the whole tv. series,and the 3 ova's series . Well Yu Watase already mess up the whole anime when she kill Nuriko. That's when I wanted to stop watching it but I keep watching. Atleast Tamahome didn't die, or Tasuki. The series was great until she kill Nuriko. I'm not trying to say Fushigi Yuugi is bad, but I just don't know what else can Yuu Watase do... She'll probably make Miaka and Taka's (Tamahome's) son/daughter go the Universes of the Four Gods and meet all the Susaku warriors again, since Nuriko has being recarnaded as a girl and all. I own the last ova serie, and the some of the eps of the tv. series and I love it. Yu Watase is one of my favorite manga-kas ever but I still think she is trying to make up for killing most of the characters at the end.
I readed one of Yu Watase intreview and they ask here
"What are your feelings now that 'Legend of Eternal Light' has finished?"
Watase- "I thought I'd finished this story with the second manga series, and yet we made an other anime, so I don't feel like it's really over at all. I may not have personally written 'Eternal Light', but I'd probably do things differently myself if Idoing new manga, so it seems very fresh and exciting to me."
and then they ask her
"Do you have a message for the fans of 'Fushigi Yuugi?'"
Watase:- The fans of "Fushigi Yuugi" have hung in there for a long time now. The new fans and the foreign fan base have grown steadily. They've spread it through their classes, have demanded continuations in the novel and video form, gather petitions for sequels... You get the general feeling of them saying "We're not going to LET this story end!" and I'm really grateful for that sort of dedication. It makes me happy. As long as you say you like it, "Fushigi Yuugi" will continue to be reborn!
I think I know from where the rumors started. At the end of the intreview they started talking about the "Legend of the Scarlet Jewel" series of side stories, which cover what happend to everyone befored Miaka met Tamahome. They (Araki, Watase, and Midorikawa) all got exited and said "We want to do it! As long as there's support, we may keep going!"
So yeah I think Yu Watase will continue with "Fushigi Yuugi".
