I used to watch adult swim a lot more, but not since going back to school. Nevertheless, I still catch an episode some nights.

There is supposed to be a channel called Anime Network or something like that, but I don't know if it is on cable or satellite. It is supposed to play anime all day. I don't have it though.

When I was living at home there were 3 channels that I watched for anime: Cartoon Network (Adult Swim), TechTV (sadly no more, not sure if the G4TechTV combo plays anime or not), and the generic Action Movie channel part of the Encore package.
Now, no cable/satellite, so I get all my anime via rental (netflix) and purchase.

Cartoon Network but the only anime series I watch that's on TV nowadays is Naruto.

I do most of my anime watching on DVD's.

Yeah that is correct. ADV runs it. I remember seeing a t.v. ad for it at a sports bar I was at. It was pretty cool.

Funi also is doing this.

YTV. Only option I have, really. Well we DO have Fox with it's "ever-popular" FoxBox anime :/ Buuut YTV already gets them all anyways :/
I only watch GitS on there anyways :/ And WHR when it aired through.

...in a couple weeks I'll be watching Turner for 2 weeks to see some Ghibli's I've been wanting to watch though^^ Yay subbedness!

From what I have seen on Comcast channels I have that carry anime
The WB Channel
Fox Channel
Family Channel
Nick Jr
Cartoon Network
G4 which shows anime after midnights .
Now there is a channel that runs local request like church services and other things that has put on different anime on Saturday Mornings for an hour. A local anime shop pays to put the anime on that channel.
I only get certain channels because I can't afford buying all the channels Comcast offers.
I remember when Sci Fi Channel had anime on it.

I watch anime on Cartoon Network (Inuyasha, Naruto, FMA, and Samurai Champloo). There's an anime network which plays anime 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but my cable provider doesn't offer it. :shady:

For me, it's Cartoon Network, G4, and the Action channel (DirecTV has over 200 channels and Anime Network isn't one of them. Whasupwidat?) I did watch a little bit of one episode of Cromartie High but it didn't really interest me that much because it looks too much like American animation for my liking, but that's just me. (If it wasn't for the lip synching, I would have thought it was American.)
Simple arithmetic:
FF7 + World War II games = overrated
freedom + things we're lucky to have = taken for granted
manga + anime = a very happy person
Salvation + Jesus' Sacrifice = Eternal Life
a village - its idiot = a lot of smart people

Cartoon Network's Adult Swim is pretty much all. I used to watch G4 when they played good stuff like Last Exile... Now it all seems to be pointless ecchi trash.

Well in the mornings they have shown the Digimon series. Its just good to check the TV schedules either by computer by network channel websites or newspaper listings.
Acourse some of the other cartoons or anime on there could have been done in other countries.

YTV is Canadian, I think it stands for Youth TV or something? All I know is that I've been watching it since I can remember and it's my only source for anime.

I usually watch my anime on Adult Swim...That's really the only place availiable to me. I'd LOVE to be able to get one of those anime channels, but who knows if or when that'll happen, haha! Turner Classic Movies is showing Miyazaki films all through the month of January, so I guess that counts a little bit, too. :D I also download some unlicensed anime from Japan that haven't been released in America yet, so maybe my Windows Media Player counts, too. We only have basic cable now, so we've basically only got Adult Swim (since G4 has pretty much abandoned good anime). Not counting TCM's wonderful foray into the world of Ghibli this month.

I started renting from Blockbuster Online, so I preview series for my daughters there, and pass 'em along if to them if they're any good as well as age-appropriate.

I don't even think Anime Network On-Demand is anywhere near as good as it was a year-and-a-half ago, when we had digital cable (saw Eva, RahXephon, Full Metal Panic, etc. from their service). And right about that time they added Adult Swim On-Demand (showing S-cry-ed before they broadcast it on AS).

Another Time Warner-er here. I bumped my package up just a bit (Digital Variety Tier--only $3 extra a month), so there are one or two other channels that play anime that I can get. Here's my lineup:

-Cartoon Network/Adult Swim - Pretty much anyone these days with basic cable/satellite should be able to pick this up.

-G4 - They do still play anime, though they've cut way back on it (Friday nights at midnight & 3AM Eastern, usually with an additional repeat on Saturday and/or Sunday night). They are gently easing a few more instances of it back onto the schedule, so hopefully it's a matter of time before it's back on as a nightly thing.

-AZN Television - The network formerly known as the International Channel. For the most part I've not cared that much for the anime I've seen there, although Patlabor can be addictive.

-CN On Demand - They recently started adding some Dragonball and DBZ.

-Adult Swim On Demand

-Anime Network On Demand - Interesting how cable companies have so quickly embraced the VOD version, but are being so slow to come on board with the 24/7 version.

-G4 On Demand - When I first got digital cable they were running some anime here, though they haven't for a while. It may be that they didn't have the rights to run the ADV stuff on demand, though I don't know that for a fact.

There are, of course, a few other networks running anime. Tringard mentioned Encore Action; I also saw that Encore's WAM! network is running Vandread right now. There's also the Anime Network (the 24/7 version), which is on a limited number of cable systems; and the FUNimation Channel, although I couldn't tell you a single cable system it's on right now. I believe Comcast also has a section of their On Demand service called Anime Selects.
Theme Scripture: Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)

And a verse for all us single folks: Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas? (1 Corinthians 9:5)

 Looking for a GOOD music mix? Check out these stations:

Unfortunately all I can get in my dorm is Adult Swim, and I’ve seen it all. Gone are the days when each Inuyasha episode was new. *sigh* Now I have to rely fansubs and my friends to get my anime fix.
