LOL, anyone else see last night's episode? While I liked some things
the best mecha battles of the series, the return of R. Dorothy, Angel s mech and her final scenes, that last battle, etc. . .
 that has to be one of the worst endings in the history of anime.

At least they didn't cut it that I know of, but the
first episode intro while the ending credits play was the ending scene.
Grr. Such a good series and it had to end like THAT? ^sigh^ :stressed:

I haven't seen it, but Yu-Yu Hakusho ends terribly as well. Why is that?

Hmm. I don't remember the details, but I remember not being happy with the ending of it. A friend of mine told me there was a 2nd season, though, so I didn't worry too much about it. Hmm...

This was the second season ending. The first season ending is a cliffhanger. This one was just wierd. It was like the creators tried to rip off Eva. "Hey, lets have reality rewrite itself." And then not explain what happens afterwards. They tried too hard and failed miserably.

Yes, it was. :mutter: I hope that the fanfic writers start seeing the potential with such an open ending: the Trigun fandom became very popular with writers wanting to make their own endings and sequels (and some of them actually did quite well at it LOL, while others didn't)

So far, there's only like 200 fanfics written for Big O at fanfiction.net, and out of those, there's only like one or two that's in-character and well-written. :shady: I'm hoping that the end of the series and the second full run of it will bring more writers in there. . .:)

I missed a lot of Big O eppies.... I liked the series, I just missed several eppies and I'd like to see it run again. If I get to see it all, I might start writing Big O fics. :) . I'm told, with my fanfiction and roleplaying that I'm good at keeping charcters in-character.

Yes, I saw the ending. I was thinking: "WHAT?" Seriously, I was... really, really confuzzled. If you ask me, it ended more weirdly than Eva (in speaking of the TV series. I havent' seen EoE yet). I *think* I knew what happened at the end of NGE in the TV series, but with Big O... I was left thinking... "Huh?" Nothing really got resolved... is Paradigm City real? A stage? A book? Is Rodger an android or a human? Just what the heck is Angel, anyway?

Yessss... much potential for fanfic writers. Weird and dissapointing series ending, though. I usually like open endings (I loved Trigun's ending, for instance), but this... um... "Huh?"

I have seen yu yu hakusho from beginning to end, three times.
It doesn't end there. there are three more sagas (ala dragon ball z) I want to tell all of them but I'm still figuring out how to do that spoiler button thingie...

It had me confused as well, I remember reading a review that warned fans NOT to watch the ending. It was such an odd end, but that won't change the fact that I love the series.

If I watched it again from the begining I know I'll catch little nuances I missed before.

Nadesico ended pretty weak too, but that's because there were a video game and a movie planned after that...
