my dad is totally against anime/manga he thinks its all abig commercial or connected 2 hentai and every time i try 2 explain it seems like he blows me off!!

Well, if you're living in your father's home, you should probably respect his decisions about such things. However, if he has any questions, myself and the other mods/admins welcome them. Also, we have some reviews of animes from a Christian perspective as well, if that helps.

they tend to. My mom doesnt care just nothing to inappropriate and no hentai, sounds about right. my dad has your feelings i still get to watch so no biggie my dad just thinks its dumb

i think you should pray that your dad will listen to you and try to explain it again maybe you should tell him it's not fair that he won't even listen to you about it cause i bet he doesn't know that much about anime some parents just don't want to listen it gets pretty annoying sometimes because they think there right a lot and we like always have to respect them but they don't always do the same for us so maybe if he watched an episode of some anime or read some manga he would think differently about it

My dad hates it. He doesn't like that I'm watching cartoons and anime, even though alot of it is intended for adults, and would rather have me watch crap on the Disney Channel like Lizzie McGuire or something. My mom doesn't care what I watch. I'm okay with it, though.
