I must speak with you a moment, Heart of Sword. What you have just posted now is the offensive type of gravedigging. Typically threads as old as this one are not brought back unless the discussion must be reopened or there is something new to say on the subject. Kindly don't reopen threads just for a comment such as that.

For the record, however, this is just a warning and won't go on your record or anything.

Actually, I directed her here UC. She posted a thread earlier asking if teen titans was anime or not and I posted the link to this thread. So if anyone here is guilty of grave digging, it's me.

You know I would consider it an anime. But almost an american anime. Its got anime traits like that anger sign, big heads, tear drops..etc, etc. But also a super hero kinda way of doing it.

Even though I don't like the show as much as most anime it is my favorite "super hero" show. I don't think it's an anime very much, but I think it effectively uses some anime style in it's art and music. One of the reasons it's my favorite "superhero" show is cause the characters are actually develped. Not as much as anime does, but at least there not the blank characters from a DC comic.

Yeah. It's a cool superhero show but isn't really deep enough to be anime. Then again, there's Hamtaro...@@x

Oh well. Yeah, it's anime-influenced...
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

indeed, yet it is deeper than the usual non anime cartoons. it has some suprisingly interesting episodes. indeed it is anime-influenced. i would probably watch it more if it was completely anime. that would be very interesting dontcha think so? ^__^

As I have said multiple times (most likely in this thread), the creator is actually quite familiar with manga style and merely opted for a partially manga style. He merely encorporated elements that he liked, and didn't use those he wasn't particularly fond of.
