I saw the OAV on [AS]. It was pretty blasted good, actaully. Great art, good story, and I didn't really mind "President Bush" wetting himself.

There was a little bit of fanservice, but it wasn't horrible. (Deep's outfit is a bit revealing and she's pretty... er... endowed. You also see a little bit Yamiko's underwear for three quarters of a second when she falls down.)

I'm now caught up with everything that's out, and it has turned into one of the most compelling shows I've seen. I can not wait to see the next volume. The most troubling thing is a fair amount of fanservice and the unnecessary nudity in episode 9. I highly recommend watching the OVA first. This show also has some of the greatest action sequences I've seen in a long time. Some of the fights are nothing short of spectacular.
