In the intro song of malcom in the middle (not sure if anyone has seen it). They just show random clips. One of them is a blue haired anime character smiling. I don't have a picture, and all I can say is that it looked older. Could anyone who has seen it perhaps identify the anime?

No. Nadia is set in 1888 I believe. No skateboards. Flying hot-air-balloon tanks? Yes, but no skateboards.
