Cool, I have been curious about this anime, since I am also planning on getting the games.

I have played this game on a number of occasions. I remember playing it continuously for eight hours on one occasion. The only thing I didn’t like about it is that it got a lot of violence. My son wanted to play this game but I have discouraged him because of the amount of violence in it.

Well, the anime isn't for kids, so it stands to reason the game wouldn't be, either

But I know I've heard fantastic things about it. So many anime, so little time!

Wait, the Sengoku Basara games are violent? Huh?

I saw a video of Sengoku Basara 3 a while ago and it looked pretty much exactly like the Musou series of games. No blood, and people just kind of fall over and disappear when you beat them. In fact I just went and watched a gameplay video now and yeah, it's pretty much just like Dynasty Warriors/Samurai Warriors. Unless there's some sort of blood option you can turn on I don't see how it's violent at all.

Now Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage, THAT'S a violent game.

Yeah, I never found Sengoku (Or Devil Kings, as it was called in America) that violent. If anything, its a step down from Dynasty Warriors.
