I would actually have to second that. XD I watched and enjoyed the first season of Sailor Moon subbed, but I only got to watch about half of Sailor Moon R, and I never finished it. I'd like to see a little more of it subbed, and it wouldn't hurt to put out a good dub of the show that doesn't slice up the original material, but from what I hear it's highly unlikely. XD Unfortunate, but hey, you can dream, right? XD

Yes! Sailor Moon! Unfortunately, Toei is being a butt about it. I'm pretty sure we'll never see it again in the US.

Yes! Another has come to the light! Kidding. XD  I enjoyed the subs, hence it's my favorite anime. XD

Yeah, a good dub would be nice. But unlikely. *dreams* XD

Sailor Moon will never see the light in the US again? That sucks.

Oh, and I also want to see the Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru series licensed up there, but that's another impossible dream.

I read some where that their is a committe in Japan that meets ever year to vote if they will release any Gundam outside of Japan.

The show I am waiting for is the last part of "Banner of the Stars/Creast of the Stars".

All this talk of Sailor Moon has reminded me...

PRETTY CURE! BEST. MAGICAL. GIRL. SERIES. EVAR. It's the anime that I wish was around when I was a kid. It really says something when the main character wears black and plays lacrosse. XD

4Kids was going to released it but ended up dropping it.

What a fortuitous event. 4kids was responsible for the butchery job on Tokyo Mew Mew.

Definitely Magical Guru Guru, which is the best fantasy parody anime I have ever seen. Why someone like Funi wouldn't license it is beyond me, because people love parody anime, as you could tell from Excel Saga's huge fanbase.

I love Pretty Cure almost as much as Sugar Sugar Rune! I wish both of those series would become licensed here.

I'd also love to see:

Kaze no Shoujo Emily!
Good Witch of the West
Princess Ai
NANA (the anime series)
La Corda D'Oro
Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch!
A second season of Fruits Baskets (though that will never happen!)
Kaleido Star the two other OVAs
Ichigo Mashimaro OVA
Oh, and a re-released of Cardcaptor Sakura! I'd also wouldn't mind (like it was already mentioned) a SM re-release of the series.

Alittle off topic:

Wouldn't it be nice if they turned Yotsuba&! into an anime? :D

I love that show and own the first season as well but since that release there has been little to no discussion on when the rest shall be released. Since there were 73 episodes, right? There's been a lot of speculation that Nozomi Entertainment will not release the Second Season if the first does not garner enough sales.

Nobody's Boy Remi another underrated title has also been released. So, who knows! ^__^

Sadly, they are now putting these temporarily on hiatus. Not a business decision on Funimation's part, exactly (SEE CORRECTION IN POST BELOW); it's just that the DVD printing outfit they were contracting is apparently in the process of going bankrupt. They are currently working on finding an alternate provider.

You mean Mazinger Z? Or Mazinkaiser (which is licensed by ADV)?

Also, I thought it was ImaginAsian that was doing Cat's Eye, Orguss, and Nobody's Boy Remi?

My bad. I lost one Anime source in ImaginAsianTV and picked up another in Funimation when I changed to FIOS, and now I confuse the names occasionally. It's ImaginAsian marketing them, but as I mentioned, the company contracted to do the actual DVD printing is apparently closed for business, and IA is having to look for a new solution. Due to this, RightStuf has taken the IAtv titles out of its online catalog.

I don't have the link with me, but this was all in a news story on ANN a couple days ago.

I don't remember reading that it said the DVD supplier closed for business, I could be wrong on that.

and here is the news link

TitleMatch Halts Production of ImaginAsian DVDs

Sounds more like ImaginAsian was dealing with a shady outfit and pulled the rug from under them.
