Anyone seen Harlock: The Endless Odyssey?

Heya, guys. I was wondering what y'all thouhgt about this particualr series. I've started watching it on youtube. I'm at episode 7 now. From what I know, it's based on an old anime from Leiji Matsumoto. I've never seen the original one, but I'd like to. So far it's pretty coolio. Unfortunately, there's some nudity in the first episode, but skip that scene, and so far it's pretty clean. It does seem to have some pretty dark elements(there's a lot more to it than just space pirates and stuff like that), but it has a pretty engaging epic storyline. Classic space opera. So, anyone else seen it, and what are your thoughts?
