How about a two restricted zones, one for guys and one for gals? You'd have to be logged in to access them, and guys couldn't get to the gals' board and vice versa. That way, we males could ask questions to our brothers in Christ only, and the girls could chatter to each other without guys watching and commenting.

Well, at least the forum doesn't have the option to change gender once it has been set. That includes shifting from genderless, I believe.

Ultimately, however, I don't think such forums would be necessary. For one, I appreciate the open environment of CAA at the moment; hidden sections would harm that somewhat, in my mind. Furthermore, often the other gender has more to say on some issues than you might think, and it is good to have opinions from both.

If you want private conversations, you can use the private messaging system or (my suggestion) speak with people in real life.
