The 60 Second rule with PM's

I was just typing up a whole bunch os Pm's trying to catch up, but everytime I tried to send my next one I had to wait 60 seconds before I could post. Is this just so that there's no flooding with the PM's, to save bandwidth? I just brought this up wqondering if the wait time could be shortened by maybe 15 seconds. Could I get some feed back on this from the admins and moderators?

Hmm... We COULD do that, but it's the delay between postings, actually, and it's a feature - not a bug.

PM is just another form of posting. This rule is in place to prevent trolls from posting faster than we can clean up their mess. Normally, users don't try to post/search/whatever more than 60 sec appart...

So, sorry - but no. I hope you can understand our reasons, though.

Ya I know it's a feature, and thanks for posting! Now that I know why it's there I think I can live with it ^_^ Thanks for helping me Oldphil!
