Problem Uploading Pictures

Today, I had a problem uploading pictures:

Browser version:
Mozilla Firefox v.9 and Internet Explorer (unknown version)

Connection speed: >1 MBPS (Cable modem)

Computer specifications: Dell, Pentium 4, 2.8 Ghz, 512 MB RAM, Windows XP Home Edition

Software that you have recently installed: None

Did the bug recently appear? If so, was it working on a different machine before? The bug appeared today. I have not encountered the problem in the past; and it was working on different machines before.

URL from which the bug occurs, along with a description of where the bug happens:
URL- http://www.christiananime.net/newattachment.php , from http://www.christiananime.net/showthread.php?t=2376

When I follow the "Manage Attachments" link after trying to upload a picture, I get the following text:

Bug Text Screen wrote:Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 5428 bytes) in /home/virtual/site35/fst/var/www/html/includes/functions_image.php on line 117

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 43 bytes) in /home/virtual/site35/fst/var/www/html/includes/functions.php on line 466

Step - by - step instructions on how to reproduce the bug. (Please try and do this, it's very helpful)

1.Within the thread, click on either the "Post Reply," or "Go Advanced" links (I tried from both).

2.Click "Manage Attachments."

3.Click "Browse," and choose a picture. In my case, the picture was a 187 kb .jpg file.

4.Click "Upload."

5.After I get the "uploading" message for a few seconds, I encounter the screen with the text that I quoted earlier.

Any further information
I tried using both Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer, and I got the same results with both browsers.

Thanks in advance :) .

When that happens, the pic is usually too large. Try reducing the total image size in an editor. If you don't have one, I or any of the mods would be happy to help you get it resized...:)

BTW...excellent job with the report...:thumb:
