I'm willing to acknowledge the possibility that my connection of the problem to CAA is based on faulty logic. It's just that it only happens here, never with any other site.

Could it be affected by the fact that I end up posting a lot for the RPG games and am gumming up something?

As for Firefox, a friend of mine reported the same problem and he uses it.
(I use IE6 with Stopzilla, if that helps)

Oldphil, I have a quick question about the Prayer Section and I'm not sure whether this is the right place. I hope it is.

I noticed that the database kills off/eats up any prayer request posts made by 'Unregistered' members. The post..... just disappears. Is that an issue we should look into? I managed to salvage one prayer request last night but I worry that we will lose more in the future.

Okay, looking back here, was it possible before to upload a graphic sig image to CAA? I didn't think you could, but...

Also, while we're here, do you think we could get http://www.christiananime.net to redirect to the current location? It's not really a big deal, it's just a convenience thing.
The cake used to be a lie like you, but then it took a portal to the deception core.

OK...

AH: Idaknow. *shrugs* That's a new one to me. If it's a DNS issue, it will likely be solved soon...

Mave: I'll see if I can figure anything out. Sometimes those posts get filed into the bit bucket, and they always show up as "new posts" but I think there may be a display problem if it can't associate a username with it.

Kal: I've been working with two PITN hosts on that issue for three weeks. It will probably be resolved by the time you read it. Neener neener. ;)

Well, it took awhile, but now Firefox behaves the same way :stressed:
edit: Seems like being on line for a few hours fragments the memory bad. Well, it's working again...

Sounds like bad RAM to me. Or a HD failure in one of the VM sectors. Try running some hardware testing software.
