Online, or on the site?

Because I haven't gone on the Internet in years... :P

YAY! Thank you for volunteering Rexman!

Honestly, it's nothing evil, devious, or criminal. I need you to go onto this site http://sciencesoft.at/index.jsp?link=solve&lang=en

It won't work on my computer. For some reason when ever I hit the "solve" button on the calculator it doesn't do anything except say "error." If it works for you, can you PLEAAASE balance the following equations for me?? There's not that many. Just type 'em in on the thing.

15. HgO + Cl2 HgCl + O2

16. Na + Br2 NaBr

17. KCl03 KCl + O2

18. Ca(OH)2 + HNO3 Ca(N03)2 + H2O

19. Al2O3 Al + O2

20. CuCl2 + H2S CuS + HCl

21. Cl2 + NaBr NaCl + Br2

22. NaOH + HCl NaCl + H2O

23. Na20 + CO2 Na2C03

24. H2O + Fe Fe2O3 + H2

I'm up against a deadline!! And about to be dead myself. XD

the first site you posted wants you to have it set up as x = y, you don't have one side equaling another so thats why it wont work

Doe, Eh? Really? I HATE math. Would you mind doing it for me?? :: Puppy dog eyes :: I'll forever owe you a favor!!

Apparently, there's something wrong with the format of the equations... There needs to be an "=" sign in there.

EDIT: Oh yeah, Doe got it...

Oh nevermind. I GOT it! THANK YOU DOE PERSON WHO I'VE NEVER EVEN MET BEFORE!!!!!! i WORSHIP THE GROUND YOU WALK ON!!!!!! :: BOWS ::

Thanks to you too, Rexman, but erm...you're useless. ^_^

Err...I haven't done things like this for like two years. Is this the type of answer you want?

15) 2HgO+Cl2=2HgCl+O2

16) 2Na+Br2=2NaBr

btw, that 0 in the third one confuses me

Eh... At least I tried.

I guess that last bit wasn't needed, oh well, glad I could help.

That's simple algebra! Just make sure the amounts of each element add up, it should be pretty easy to balance.

the way these are set up, you have two groups on each line and you have to add in the = operator. The site works, you were just entering the formulas wrong.

Oh, and you should probably learn to balance these by hand. It's not an exceptionally difficult part of chemistry, but it'll get your brain in shape in case you decide to tackle organic chemistry, which is... significantly more interesting.

Eh....

No, no nothing of the kind Yumie. They merely helped me gain a higher appreciation of chemistry.
