can someone give me some tips, mebbe a link to a tutorial on how to draw realistic portraits. please...?

I'm not sure what level you know, so I'll give you the basic: look at the shapes of things far more than the detail. Block out the shape of the face, the basic freatures, the shadows, etc. before going into the little things, as much more interesting as they may seem.

I find it easiest to just look off of Magazine pics...and instead of seeing the entire picture take each area in small amounts..

like if you were to draw an eye. just look at the lines...and shapes...
