Heya! For my ISU, I'm comparing the differences in culture between Japan and China. My question is, how long were noh plays, on average. I know kabuki plays were nearly four to six hours in length, but I am not sure about noh. Also, if you would like to state any other differences between Chinese and Japanese culture, I would appriciate(sp?) it.

Thank you! :)

Are you covering Bunraku together with Kabuki, or separately?

Umm...what's Bunraku?

If it's another version of Kabuki, then I'm covering them together.

Bunraku is the puppet theatre. (something like 2/3 or 3/4 scale or thereabouts)

It's about as old as kabuki, iirc, and some of its plays were taken and adapted to the kabuki stage, but it's its own form.
