hi was wondering if anyone knows a way to set 1 image to be the backround for the entire page non tiled like the whole page a image/map

The way I do it is to increase the right and bottom edges of the images to something astronomical like 1600x1280, using (insert page background color desired) as the extra pixelage. I've never heard any complaints about it. ;)

I think he means so that the image scrolls with the user's scrolling... I knew the function that did this a while back but can't remember now. I'll have it probably by the end of the night.

Um, try my way. You may be surprised what it does.

I assume you are talking about the "bgproperties=fixed" attribute. Yes, you can put that in the body tag, but last I checked it only worked in IE. Mozilla may have added support for it, but it wasn't part of the standard by the 4.0 branch of the NS browser.
