Does anyone know if there's a way to make an image file into a path? I want to enlarge some pictures in my database to use for wallpaper, and paths enlarge much clearer than other files so...

If you mean vector paths... I don't know of a way to convert a picture IN PHOTOSHOP to them, but Quark Express and now Illustrator CS2 have tools for this purpose.

No, there is a way to change an image into a path. I read a tip in NewType USA about it, but i can't find it now. And the directions in my Photoshop manual and Photoshop for dummies books are kinda obscure...guess I'll just have to keep fiddling around.

Just any, generic image? Vectorizing is tricky business and I don't think that's natively part of Photoshop. I believe there are third-party plugins, but I'm sure you'll pay handsomely for them.

I would adore being proven wrong, as this would be useful for me, too.
