as a general rule, you can only "dye" something if its original color is lighter than the color you plan to dye it. I'm not sure if bleach works on wigs, but I doubt it.

Yeah, it would probably completely ruin the wig (unless it was a REALLY nice wig.)

spray stuff as in the cheap spray hair color that you use at Halloween?
I'd strongly advise against it - most wigs aren't made of human hair, and usually dyes/colorings meant for human hair don't work well on them and might damage the wig. Though if it's for one convention, it may be worth a try if you don't see any other alternative.

hmm...I'm not really knowledgable in this...I've never dyed a wig. Although I talked to some people at a salon about getting pink extensions and they suggested that I bring in the white hair and let them dye it the color I wanted....I guess it sort of follows that if one can dye piece of fake hair, one can probly dye a wig of the same material, but maybe it's a special sort of dye? *shrugs* well, I don't think so...they just asked me to pick out the dye (manic panic) and they'd do it for me.
so maybe you should talk to a hairstylist, they'd probly know more about it that me XD
