how to make paper mache masks? I'm working on a musical on a low budget, and must have masks!

I have made those before, you just cute out the shape you want in cardbored, then you get slices of paper, and dip them in glue, stick em to the cardborad, then dry and paint!
At least thats how I did it.. >_>;;
