i know how to put new fonts in Word, but FOR THE LIFE OF ME i cannot make photoshop CS recognize this font. its TrueType format, and the font it called Rotis. it'd be super amazing if any of you wizards in this forum could help me out. ive researched and it doesnt seem its possible to upload new fonts to the PC version of photoshop CS. if i had a Mac, i'd just go to suitcase, but that'd be too easy. :comp: help.

If you've installed the font in Windows (putted it in C:\Windows\Fonts), meaning it works in Word etc., then it should work in Photoshop CS too. But the list in Photoshop CS is often not that good organized as the one in Word

wow, i wish that worked. ive got the thing in the fonts folder in windows .. it'll open on Word with no problems, but not open/appear in photoshop. i can copy/paste the text into CS from word, but it wont come up on the font toolbar, so when you copy past the Rotis text, you cant justify it, and it randomly spaces words funny. ive looked over the adobe font list dozens of times but with no luck. >_<

If it's not a Western language/font, you may need to install support for that. Or else I don't know...

have you tried going into your control panel, double clicking fonts, then going to file, install new font, then navigate to it and click ok?
