A note about the roleplay:
I'm aware that people do not always check CAA everyday and this will complicate Lineage. Before you join, keep in mind that this roleplay will require dedication. When people don't check the roleplay at least once a day, they get lost and end up freelancing. The Vylyte family is VERY close so having the members freelance is not ideal in any form. Please make sure you can dedicate checking in once or twice a day. It is important that the Vylytes stay together and that officers are always close on their tail. What fun would it be otherwise?
Since the beginning of time, thievery has been looked down on and discouraged in every corner of the world. Children are taught at a young age that stealing is wrong and should never be done. But for the Vylyte family, whose lineage is rich in the thieving arts, it is the exact opposite. For hundreds of years, dating as far back as Elizabeth Bathory, Christopher Columbus, Geoffrey Chaucer, Attila the Hun, Alexander the Great, Plato and Ramses II., the Vylyte line has been there, stealing the riches of the ages from known criminals and storing them in a secret location.
Today, the family name is down to six members. Kenneth Vylyte (35), Nicholas Vylyte (13), Kylie Vylyte (11), Victor Vylyte (11), Aaron Vylyte (9) and Kyra Vylyte (7). With law enforcers closing in on their whereabouts, the family has been on the move for months, with Kenneth teaching his children their family lineage and trademark thieving skills. For now, the Vylyte family resides in one of their mountain villas in Colorado.

The roleplay will start at the villa. Choose one of the Vylyte's you wish to play or create your own: a close family friend, rival thief or police officer.
Some background on the Vylyte family:
- Kylie and Victor are twins ((this seemed like a good place to put it))
- The family has amassed billions of dollars (Money is never an object)
- Signature colors have been given to the children. ((Try to keep the colors dark. I've got Black and Silver))
- Each member has a specialty in thieving. Field work, planning, enforcement, mechanics, demolition, electronics. Choose one or two as primary skills and one as a fall back the character isn't very good at.
- Behind each heist, the Vylyte's leave behind a calling card; a Violet.

Hey, y'all, loving the characters.
I just have one point I want to discuss about the police officers. I understand wanting a young character, it's appealing, easier to relate to and a better option for flirting. But be honest here, how many twenty-year-old police officers do you see? I've seen a total of zero. A friend looked it up for me, the only way to have a twenty year old police officer is to have them JUST joining the force or they're a genius and took college two years early and has connections with the police (I'm not allowing genius's so forget that option). I hate dictating this roleplay to much, and I've felt like I've done to much nit-picking but I have to ask for older police officers. I'm also changing Ashlin's age so it doesn't feel like I'm the exception to my own rules. I would like to point out that twenty-three is a very good age to be when it kicks off because it is possible as you'll have two or three years of experience, plus you're still young enough to have fun. Again, I want to apologize if I've been dictating to much.
A little secret I haven't reveled yet, which I'm going to do so now, is that I'm thinking of making this roleplay into a novel for publication. Accuracy, though a royal pain, is needed in a book. That's why I'm being such a bugger about your characters. With luck, playing with everybody here will provide enough inspiration to get the book done and, if I do get it published, I'll mention all of you for helping me. I want this roleplay to be great and the book to be just as good.
