After breakfast, Christa got ready for Saturday. She had a few chores to do, as well as some algebra practice she had decided to do to keep her skills sharp.

Talia was up bright and early, even though it had been a somewhat late night. She slid her fingers along some of Christa's dvd's, thinking about borrowing a series or two. Her fingers lit upon Serial Experiments Lain. She hadn't seen it yet.

She went downstairs to say hi and get some breakfast before heading home. ((Hey, can I borrow this, this week?)) she held up the dvds as she poured herself some cereal with the other hand.

Christa looked up from her practice work. {{Sure, go right ahead. Maybe you'll understand it better than I did.}} She signed with a smirk. The only reason she watched it was because it had beautiful backdrops. The plot...she'd given up on.

Alex slowly got dressed and trudged down the stairs. He had left Christa's house before it got dark.
Alex's mom was in the kitchen cooking breakfast. "How was the meeting, honey?"
"*mumble*...fun...great time..."
"Alexander Jeremy Reed! Were you up ALL night?!"
The sound of his mother's shout snapped his mind back into reality.
"Oh, uh...I'm sorry...I was watching the anime that Christa lent me and lost track of time."
"*sigh* Well, please don't do it again. Now, hurry up and eat your breakfast or you'll be late for school."

After breakfast, Alex grabbed his bike and pedaled furiously towards the school.

OOC: Nausicaa is only one movie. I'm sure he would've had no problem watching it in one sitting.
At computer class, Christa decided to look online and see what conventions were coming to town.
"Well, here's a good one. I went to this one last year. Otakucon was a lot of fun." Then she saw the price. "Looks like we'll have to discuss this. I'll talk to Talia and see what she thinks."
