hihi peeps~

I stumbled upon this site and I immediately knew I just had to join! I was like ! SO THERE ARE OTHER CHRISTIANS WHO LIKE ANIME AND MANGA! :D

I'm a 17 years old girl and love reading manga. besides that I also love reading "normal" books, watching anime, dancing, singing, cute things, orchids, candles, hanging out with my friends, sunny days, pink (the color), going to cinema, travelling, music especially worship and christian hiphop, beach, salty popcorn, chocolate, coca cola light, talking about all the stuff I like and much more. :)

I was also raised in a christian home with 2 of my brothers. my fourth sibling is currently on its way and if everything goes as planned, it'll be born in october! *___* I'm really happy about that since I love all of my siblings a lot. <3

oh btw, while posting this I am listening to "mighty to save" from hillsong... awesome song! like almost all hillsong songs! :D

I call myself a proud member of the "clique 1:16" and Romans 1:16 is also one of my favorite verses. <3

I went through a lot in the last years regarding my relationship with God. I just recently overcame my fortunately short-lasting yaoi/shounen ai addiction but am still struggling sometimes. I also went through the experience not to be able to pray anymore... one of the toughest phases in my relationship with God. besides all the tough phases, I also experiences lots of awesome moments with God and I can't imagine living my life without Him.

so enough said about that, now for the other "reason" I joined this forum. ;)

first, here some of my favorite anime:

Binbou Shimai Monogatari
Black Lagoon
Bokura ga Ita
Bus Gamer

Yoru no Gakkou e Oide Yo!

I guess that should be it. please don't ask me how long it took me to finish these lists. :D
I usually don't prefer a specific genre, as long as a manga/anime is to my tastes, I'll like it. (makes sense, doesn't it~)

I could tell you a lot more about me but I'll stop here! so if you have any questions, just ask - I'll answer gladly. ;)

oh and my friends tend to call me uydu or uydu-chan and since I hope that I'll become friends with all of you, too - please feel free to call me that way, too. :)

hajimemashite yoroshiku onegaishimasu~
uydu-chan.

Hello and welcome to CAA! lol, I scanned through your lists of anime and manga that you like; I saw a lot of titles that I myself have read. and...

I usually don't prefer a specific genre, as long as a manga/anime is to my tastes, I'll like it.

I'm like that too ^^

Hope you have a good time on the site!

Welcome to CAA!

Very good introduction! It gives as an idea of who you are, without being overly wordy or long! ^_^ I see you have a good variety of anime series under your belt, as well as a large list of manga you've enjoyed. I just recently watched Death Note and I love that series! I finished it in two days... Addicted much? lol

Anyway, I hope to see you around the forums, and some in the chat too! Chat is a lot of fun, so I hope to be able to talk to and get to know you there! ^_^

to be honest, I really felt like being overly wordy... so I'm a little relieved you didn't think so. :D

I also finished death note in 2 days... it also took me only 2 days to finish nodame cantabile season 1+2... or I caught up with one piece from episode 1 to the latest episode in 10 days during school time.... I'm an addict, definitely. :D
but I don't watch that much anime but once I start one, I feel like I gotta watch it straaaaight to the end. :D

Well, hello there. Your reaction when finding the site was the same as mine.

And "Mighty to Save" was the first song I learned how to play, but I can't stand it now. It's so slow and easy and it drives me crazy.

And I see you haven't read the FMA manga, it's just as epic but different from the anime. I think it may be even a tad more epic.

So welcome to CAA.

Hey, welcome to CAA, even though I pretty much already welcomed you in chat the other day. :)

And I would suggest reading the Death Note manga, the anime cut out a bunch.

maybe you've heard it too many times? that happens to me quite a lot actually, listening to a song too much and then starting to dislike it. x_x

I've read both of those manga, they're just not in my "favorites" list... usually I like action-centered stories better as anime than manga (if there is an anime).
nonetheless, thanks for the recommendations! ^_^ I am always looking for new manga to read :)
