Hey folks!
Sorry. I've completely forgotten to introduce myself. Allright, my real name is Jan (yes I know, that this is a female name in the US
)and I live in the southwest of Germany. So please forgive me my poor English. I'm working hard to improve it.
I like watching movies of all kind (mostly American ones), listening to christian music (Underoath is my favorite band), talking with my friends, going to the C4C... the usual suspects.
I'm not well schooled in anime yet, but it starting to get better. My favortie animes so far are: Last Exile, Noir, Gunslinger Girl, FMP, Initial D and EVERYTHING from Makoto Shinkai. Allright... I think that's it for now.
If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask me.
I like you guys by now.
God bless you all!!!

Herzlich willkommen Impact. No need to by shy about your English, I'm impressed you even put this much effort into it (foreign languages are one of my weaknesses, so I could never speak German with the same proficiency that you are speaking English). Just make yourself at home and know who to take seriously and when to take them seriously, and you should fit right in.

Hey there impact777 and welcome to CAA! Germany is a cool country. I even know the days of the week in German(Sorry if they are not spelled correctly though. I learned them in like 5th grade.), Moonstog, Deenstog, Midvoch, Donastog, Fritog, Zonestog, and Zoomstog. Okay those are definitely spelled incorrectly, sorry. I also know the phrase Isch Libedish Gansfield! Again, that is horribly mispelled. Im sorry if your offended. But yeah, you have great English! I hope you have a great time here on CAA!

Hallo! I'm also in a German language class, but it's my first year so I'm still learning. Your English is very good, I know how hard it can be to learn it (Even though it's my first language, but you should see how some kids in my school write. In 9th grade! That officially makes you better at the English language than them.). *bows*
Also, ADXC, it's Montag, Dienstag, Mittwoch, Donnerstag, Freitag (Free day!), Samstag, and Sonntag.

Yeah, they never taught me how to spell them, just say them. So thanks for that!

@Ante Bellum: Wow! Thank you.
I didn't know that German is taught at american schools.
@ADXC: I have understood everything you've written here. And your "Isch Libedish Gansfield" made my day. xD Thank you.

Yep! Where I live, there were a lot of German immigrants, so it eventually became part of the school. I don't think a lot of schools continue the program, but my school has four years of classes and an exchange trip to Lahr every two years.

Hi Jan,
Ich kann ein bisschen Deutsch sprechen als meine Mutter und Grosseltern kommt aus Deutschland. Ich habe es in Schüle auch gelernt.
OK, so you could probably find some grammatical errors in there and my vocabulary is quite small. My German is not nearly as good as your English. I live in the west of Canada and I am also new to CAA. My German relatives come from Essen in western Germany, but I assume you are closer to Bavaria. In any case, welcome.
