XD Oh, and I have to say--I love your "location" caption. Did you intend for it to be a reference to The Princess Bride (one of my favorite movies), or was that just coincidental? XD Anyways, have fun, post a bunch, and drop by the chat sometime! See you around the boards!

P.S. I love the name Mia! XD
jorvaa wrote:Ahh! I just read your signature – are you a fan of MAE as well? Lol, I love the grammar nazi quote.

Well I can't give you a long long list of manga that I'm absolutely crazy about since I usually research a series A LOT, which usually takes a good amount of time. RuroKen and Kanata Kara are the only ones that I have actually started collecting. I just read the first Full Metal Alchemist and was impressed – despite the bad religion. Oh! I do like what I have read of Yotsuba&! (who couldn't, it's so cute!), and also Kekkaishi. I have a list of titles which I intend to check out on my next trip to Borders or Barnes & Noble, hehe. Any suggestions would be appreciated! =D
Lol, thank you. Actually, Mia is my nick name, but I'm so used to using it and it's so close to my real name that I just automatically introduce myself as Mia.
*EDIT* That song in your sig! It's one of my favorites by Casting Crowns!

Ahhh! They have a new album coming out?! Man...I have to get with the program here.rocklobster wrote:Hey, I'm a Catholic too! Welcome, my fellow Catholic sister! *bows*
Welcome to the asylum, where we actually let the inmates run the asylum!
I'm all for that arrangement! ]love[/i] that book.)Ryusei wrote:Well, that seems like a pretty long list to me! LOL! I don't read manga, really, but I have read two D.N.Angel volumes. I love the artwork! But the story is harder to follow in the manga than it is in the anime. Go figure. XD
I've heard of D.N.Angel - how is the content? I don't mind a few bad words or a lot of blood, but if there's any sexual "stuff" or nudity, I'm usually turned off.Ryusei wrote:Out of all the Manga you listed, I think the only one I've heard of is FMA. I feel like a..bumpkin...or something. Hehe....
Lol! Well now you've heard of them! I strongly suggest that you at least take a flip through the pages of From Far Away and Rurouni Kenshin. FFA is is based on a romance, but it has a good amount of action, blood, and humor. It's practically squeaky clean too. And RK...*sigh* well, you just haven't lived until you see Kaoru bash Kenshin in the head a few times. Yotsuba&! is a bit odd, but thats what makes it so great. I really enjoy the artwork in there too.Ryusei wrote:Aw, well I still like the name. XD I'm assuming it's short for Amelia? (Sorry if that's not right! ^^]
Haha! Good guess! I wonder if I should tell ya'll now, or to keep you guessing.Ryusei wrote:Booya! Castins Crowns is AMAZING! I like "Voice of Truth" and "Does Anybody Hear Her", by them, too. =D

jorvaa wrote:My brother and sister and I could probably listen to "Voice of Truth" 5 times before we get tired of it. They're a great band.
Ryusei wrote:Ooh yay! I'll have to check them out! XD I've been really hankerin' for some manga lately...
Ryusei wrote:Um..Well, I'll take a few guesses right now!
Miranda?
Mia?
Melissa?
Amy?
Amanda?
Ok I give up. Lol!
Ryusei wrote:=D Last year, one of my teachers would play Casting Crowns during class for us, and she put a quote from "Voice of Truth" on the board, so that's what got me interested in them. And my brother is learning/has learned "Stained Glass Masquerade" on guitar! w00t! XD
jorvaa wrote:Ooo yay! Let me know what you think of them. =D
jorvaa wrote:Haha - you've been MESSAGE'D.
jorvaa wrote:I only have one of their CD's, I really need to get more. Is "Stained Glass Masquerade" one of their songs?
