I am a really big Anime fan. I don't think I knew what I was getting into when I started. When I first found out about it, I didn't know what it was called so I started out calling it "Japanimation", 'cause that's the only word I could find for it. Later, I found a whole bunch of different terms, and had no idea what to call it. Words like "Shojo", "Manga"(I still don't know how to pronounce that one. >_<) and "Shonen" confused me. I thought they were all different things! I got that streightened out now. >_<

Um... Just a question. There wouldn't happen to be anyone here from GameFAQs, would there? Not trying to pry, or anything, just wanted to know if I was the only one. :shrug:

Oh, and I'm looking for a Ridley Avatar. If anyone can help me, that would be great. (Sorry if this is the wrong board for that... )

We can certanly help with this one, if nothing else. Ma-n-ga is the roman form of まんが. In Japanese, it's pronounced Maw-n-ga. That's Maw as in mouth, and Ga, not Guh. English perversions of the word range anywhere from "Maine-Guh" to "Man-Guh" to "Man-Gah." Thankfully, there's only one way to type it, so you're not going to get made fun of on the boards.
