New Guy Here

Hey people, I just registered here. I saw a link for this place in someone's profile at Animenation. Hmmm.....let's see I should introduce myself....

I'm 23, probably an old dude around here, been saved since I was about 7 years old. I had a bit of a wild and rebellious time as a teenager and in the past 5 or 6 years I've straightened my life out again and gotten back on the right track with The Lord.

I'm an artist, my love of anime came from being in awe of the artistry and different styles. I pretty much suck at trying to introduce myself  , so that's the basic info from me. If you have any questions, just ask lol. Glad to be here.

Take it easy

You're not that old, man. Welcome to the CAA. Been saved since age 7, wild life as a teen, got back on track some years ago? Sounds a lot like me.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I would've replied sooner, but it appears we've had some problems here. Gungrave IS one of my favorite animes, I love the atmosphere of the show, I just got volume 5 a couple days ago.

I might post some of my artwork on here eventually, but I'm very protective and somewhat uptight about showing my work. I'm a fairly insecure person, most artists are, so to get negative feedback on my art would be earth shattering

By the way, some of my other favorite titles include: Rurouni Kenshin (I have the complete manga series in japanese) Kaze No Yojimbo, all of the Mobile Suit Gundam series' although Zeta's ending was disappointing, Ghost in the Shell (manga, movies and anime) Last Exile of course, Cowboy Bebop, Full Metal Panic (manga and anime)

I just noticed you're from AZ. Despite what my location says, I call Mesa my home when I'm not in school. Pleasure to meet another Arizonan.

Welcome Andonicus! Good to have another artist here. I can't draw anime or manga to save myself though; instead I just stick to animals.

I really hope you enjoy yourself here.

Yo, yo, Andronicus.

Do you happen to be an admirer of Titus Andronicus?

Yeah that's where I got the name from. The play's pretty disturbing, but it was one of Shakespeare's only works where the male lead wasn't spineless lol. "Man conquering" Titus....and you thought YOUR family had issues

I love Last Exile. It's a beautiful show to me. It's a perfect example of CGI and traditional anime successfully seamlessly. A lot of people were disappointed with the ending, and while it is pretty tragic, I thought it was perfect for the attitude of the show. The character development was dead on in my opinion too. There wasn't a character on that show that wasn't fleshed out, even the expendable bridge crew of the Silvana were nicely developed by the end of the show. Just a great show, the art, the atmosphere of the show, the characters.
