some times when i join forums i feel like a outcast/lonely because im the new guy on the block and at the same time i look at the people on the board and i feel so old.

So what do you think about that is it only me or is it everyone too?

Well, Kai...there shouldn't be any reason you ought to feel that way...I can think of several people here who are as old as you are (I'm 20 myself). Although I would guess that it wouldn't matter even if you were 60---;). My suggestion is to get in there and start posting to get familiar with the other members. I know what you mean, though...sometimes i join a group and feel like I've been pinned with a giant newbie sign. I wouldn't worry about it though...:D

BTW...Did I remember to say hello?

Later,
Ink

Hello hello Kai! :D

I've had some bad experiences with other (secular..) forums too...why is it that people are so anti-newbie anyways??

Anyway, I really hope you feel welcomed here, 'cause ye are ^___^ Hope to see you around!

I dunno, it's the same way anywhere you go...

When I was young, I moved schools a lot, and I was treated as an "outcast" a lot, so I know the feeling. On other forums, pretend you know what you're talking about, but here, feel free to ask any questions you have !

i honestly have to say that this is the most awsomest thing in the world... my mom and i have been debating the Biblicalness (is that a word?) of anime (i had to run with a bad crowd to get good quality anime) and i was looking for some type of site like this... i found it! i showed the padres and they both thought it was okay so now im free to do the anime thing! yay! so everyone say "welcome newbie majan" and the majan will say "not a newbie for long!"

It's just the opposite with me..I've been here for awhile, well, at the old MSN boards anyway, and I feel younger than everyone else. Well, I probably am, but still..Anyway. You'll fit in.

I don't feel as old anymore, nor do i feel like an outcast. strange thing about feels they come and go as quickly as the seconds pass but in my city you have to live by everyones rules and do what they say not what you want. still i like traveling the world but i have to live in this city.
by the gods that sucks.
something one of my friends said to me and for some reason it popped in my mind. maybe it has a reason or maybe be  i have gone insane ;)

I think the important thing to remember is that it doesn't matter how young or how small you are. You can accomplish anything if your focus is right. Take the story of David Vs. Goliath.... he wasn't a soldier, he was small and young, but he knew that God was on his side and he accomplished defeating an entire army with one blow to the giants head. If God is for you ... who can be against you. If your focus is right.. all things fall into place and life becomes much more full and meaningful. There is nothing we can't do as long as we are not just doing it for ourselves.

since we all seem to be so young in this thread... let me give you one of my favorite verses that seems to have stuck by me through everything:

I Timothy 4.12: Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the beleivers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.

we may be young, but we can still set examples for other people- Timothy wasn't all that old- chances are he was pretty young- and he spoke one on one with Paul! We can do great things, despite our age!

heh, you just read the quote I had embroidered on my letterman's jacket. Appropriate enough considering I am the youngest person in my school that's graduating in 2004. O.o
But he's right! Age, size, ability, atheltics...none of that matters to God. For, "I will use the foolish things of this world to shame the wise." (not sure where that is exactly in the bible, but I know it's there).
