YEEHAW! Good day everyone! :) Well, it’s been a little over 2 weeks since I signed up so I guess it’s time to let you know a little more about this being known as Golden_Griff.
I won’t take for granted that everyone knows this so I’ll go ahead and mention that I am a Christian. I also grew up in a Christian home. Although I have those days where I feel like I have to examine myself on my faith, I believe that I have grown stronger and more mature in my walk in Christ since I gave my life to Him at the age of 9. I believe that I can grow even more.

When I first heard of CAA I was interested but skeptical at the same time; I was being careful not to get into anything “unauthentic.â€

I think this is one of the coolest Who's Who threads I've read in a long time, so great job. Glad to get to know you a bit, and glad that you're here and didn't jump into anything too readily. You have good taste in anime and video games as well. I've always wondered where the first season of Big O went... I haven't seen the DVD's since Season two came out, and I think that I liked the first season better. Oh well. Anyway, I'm pretty long winded, so if you feel like tpying long posts (in my opinion) more power to you! See ya later.

Thank you :) Yes, I consider this as my induction service into CAA's community  Refreshments will be served, by the way. I think the Trigun fans will appreciate the Krispy Kreme donuts

If anyone has any questions for me PM me anytime! ;)

Some more information about me:

I'll listen to almost any genre of music as long as its not vulgar or offensive. :banned:

I can't STAND commercials that use rap for their jingles (they should really stop trying to be "hip") :shady:

I have more friends online than in real life, which sort of interests me. But I guess that wouldn't be much surprise seeing that it's easier for me to meet people with the same interests as me.

My favorite dance moves include:
  • The running man
  • The cabbage patch
  • The harlem shake (terrible at it but I still like to do it)
  • The Charleston
  • The Charleston Shuffle
  • something I call the Choo-Choo
  • several other dance moves I don't know the name of

My favorite dance moves also explain why I don't dance in public--unless some catchy music grabs a hold on me

Things that give me a hint on my fear of heights:
  • I always wanted to travel overseas but I'm terrified of flying on air planes.
  • I don't ride roller coasters with very steep slopes (hate that feeling I get in my stomach!)
  • I dread staying on any floor higher than the 5th at a hotel.
  • I get nervous driving/riding over high bridges.

"Reality" Shows that I Dislike:
  • Fear Factor
  • The Swan
  • Average Joe and any of its versions
  • Particularly any show that involves a man/woman choosing the "love" of their life from among dozens of other individuals
  • Now that I think about it, I hate ALL reality shows

The only "reality" shows I've seen as worth watching were Big Brother and Starting Over.

You want "reality" television? Watch the news.

Cartoons I enjoy watching (I've already mentioned the anime) :
  • Home Movies
  • Sealab
  • Harvey Birdman
  • ATHF (notice anything here?)

Other video games I enjoy:
  • Earthbound
  • Final Fantasy VII (the first I've played in the series)
  • Kirby Superstar
  • Anything that's multiplayer (allows more fun!)

I forgot to mention PC games:
  • Creatures 2
  • Creatures 3
  • The Sims
  • Anything that allows me to create characters

I'm typing this post from the top of my head.

I'm single but enjoying it (mainly because I haven't found anyone worth my time and I'm not jumping into anything). If God really has someone out there for me he'll show up somewhere down the road

I prefer to watch movies with action or comedy. I very seldomly watch anything "R" rated because it usually means excessive gore or profanity.

I go to the movies probably twice a year.

Sayings I like to...say:
  • YAHOO!
  • YEEHAW!
  • Howdy stranger
  • YEEOWWCH!
  • ALRIGHT!
  • Yikeys

I usually say things that require a loud volume

I have little or no tolerance for profanity.

If I was an animal I think I would be a cat.

If I had special abilities it would probably be flight or ice power.

My weapon of choice is a boomerang.

I like the idea of cosplay but I've never done it. I don't know enough about anime to know who I would be anyway...

A gesture I do as approval:

I talk to myself.........a lot.

My favorite smiley on CAA: :comp:

My favorite moderator on CAA: ...hee, hee, that's for me to know and you to find out :brow:

More info may come at a later time...
