Hello,
I'm kat_kallen. You can call me Kat. :)
I just recently got into anime and of what I've seen, my favourites are Code Geass (as you can probably tell from my avvie and username) and Death Note. I also like all the Miyazaki films like Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle.
I really enjoy music as well as anime. I play several instruments currently, which can be a lot to handle sometimes, but it's pretty rewarding.

Three. Violin, piano and I just recently added the viola.

Do I have any other passions? Well, I really enjoy languages. I'm no good at any of them, but I speak a little French and more than a little Latin. I dabbled in Swedish, but that phase didn't really last too long. :P
And I read all the time - sci-fi, realistic, dystopian - really anything as long as it's not historical fiction. :P

For some reason, my last entry didn't post. Or if it did, I can't see it .... *shrugs* Anyway, nice to meet you all too! :)

@ Nate, I play three. Violin, Viola and Piano. :D
@ FllMtl Novelist, I read alot. Too much, actually. :P I do a lot of origami and I also really like languages, although I'm not really that great at them. I speak a little French and a little bit more Latin.
@ TWWK, yes! My Neighbor Totoro is really sweet (as is Ponyo.) I'm getting Whispers of the Heart really soon, and I am really pumped.
@ Beau Soir, I don't really have a favorite genre, but I listen to a lot of indie (think Regina Spektor.)

Okay, three is an acceptable number for "several." Even if a violin and viola are so similar that I think that it only counts as one and a half. :p

Yeahhhh, but there's also a clef change which is a pain in the neck. It's a harder switch than you might think. :P
