Hey has anyone ehard of the new M. Night Shymalan's new movie Village. It looks like Signs in the format, where you do see whatever is plaguing the cast until later.

heres a trailer

what it looks is bout a village in the late 1800's in Pennslyvania where on the outskirts of the village, these "creatures" live. They have co-existed in a understanding in eachother but on occassion, thier owuld be on doors a deep red bloody gash to serve as a warning not to cross pass with them. These creatures start to attack the villagers and th emain character (actor who played Meryl in Signs, Jaoquin Pheonix - also was the Ceaser in Gladiator) decides to try and stop them.

supposed to be pretty freaky and scary, i found Signs freaky enough. I want to see it though.

that would make the movie like double rated R o rlike nC-17....I dont think Shymalan would risk resorting to that to make his movie scary

I didn't think Signs was scary.... it was a bit to cliché for me. But Village looks interesting, and since Signs was such a relatively clean "thriller", I might go see Village.

the reason I loved Signs was cause of the suspense....what I think is cool instead of gradually showing more of whatever is attacking the village as the film progresses....I think it would be muchc ooler an dintresting if Night didn't even show whatever is attacking them. I think not knowing what is attacking you might be even scarier then seeing it.
