"The has got to be the biggest news I've ever posted here at Bloody-Disgusting in the two plus years we've been around. Inside is some small news from one of the most reliable websites on the web today about New Line working on Freddy vs Jason 2, which would involve Ash. Also it appears New Line wants the franchise to make Evil Dead 4! Read on for the biggest news ever!


After years and years of false rumors and false hope, many of us don't even care if we ever see Evil Dead 4 anymore. But the second I read this, my heart started pumping and I literally jumped out of my chair:

According to Dark Horizons, "Jeff Katz has done a 20-page internal treatment for Freddy vs Jason 2. It brings back the "Ash" (Bruce Campbell) character from the EVIL DEAD franchise. New Line is negotiating with CAA/Raimi to see if they can get him into this movie, with the then intent to do EVIL DEAD 4. Shannon & Swift won't be doing this."

HAHAHA!! INCREDIBLE! That has got to be the most ridiculous thing in the world hahaha! Getting Ash into a movie with either Freddy or Jason is absurdity at its finest. But in a movie with both Freddy and Jason!?

Ash rules. He kicks butt. I bet my socks (which were kindly picked up for me) that Ash THRASHES both Freddy AND Jason!!

If any side clearly wins it will be retarded..since there all pretty well invincable in there films....sept Ash...who I am pretty sure was human..albeit a butt kicking one. Plus the fans would string up the director if he had one side clearly win....This film is really just eye candy for the fans...I am looking forward to it.

Well in an interesting turn of events...nobody knows whats going on right now with Freddy Vs Jason 2. These are the known facts.

1.Ash will be in it
2.It will be made

lol....Robert Englunds wife on an email thing recently said that things are not as far along as everyone is saying they are....in fact no script has been made yet according to her...so only time will tell on this...

I heard somewhere.... probably from a very unreliable source... that Robert Englund was going to be doing any more Freddy movies. Now, considering this, I guess it wasn't true.

There have been rumors about this...but he himself has already said he plans on taking the part should there be a Freddy vs Jason part 2.
