Hey everyone, well I just saw X-Men: First Class and I loved it! I pretty much thought it was awesome.
Although I don't know how accurate it is to the comic books, I still enjoyed it very much and helped me to put many things into place.
Mutant and Proud!
So what did everyone else think of it?
I realize there is another thread, but that thread is like 2 or 3 months old and all it talked about was how bad the posters for it was. So I thought a new thread would be better since we actually have access to the movie.

I saw it this morning with my mother and loved it as well! Hank (Beast) was my favorite character, considering I always liked him anyway.
We are offically having an X-Men marathon throughout the week to watch the other four movies now.

I've heard a surprising amount of people say this movie is really good. I wasn't going to bother watching it, but if it's good then I'll probably make a trip to the dollar theatre to see it eventually.

Honestly I had my doubts to and thought well it's just another origin movie so it probably won't be that good, but it turned out to be a great movie and that I could love Magneto and Mystique in my own way rather than just having anger towards them.
Also there a super sweet cameo in this movie (I promise, it's worth it. XDD)! You need to check it out!

It felt more like a 1970s James Bond movie, but in a good way. I enjoyed it as well.

I Cant wait to see this X-men is one of my favorite Marvel properties, There are still Tons of stories from the Comic/Cartoon that I would love to see adapted. I Really want them to make a movie Involving the New Mutants/Cable/Deadpool/ and Apocalypse.

Did this movie treat the Wolverine movie as though it didn't exist? How is it that Emma Frost could be so young in Wolverine and so old in First class when Wolverine happens almost a decade later?
Why is it that Xavier can still walk after he's gone bald in X3, but he becomes crippled in First class? Is it a reboot? if so, why did they use the scene from the first Xmen movie?
It would have been great if it weren't for its schizophrenic treatment of the other movies.

The other movies were more or less total crap anyway so I am okay with this.

I saw and totally enjoyed the film. I was worried at first because I figured it would be one of those films all about the teens and their emo, boring problems, but this film was actually a mature, serious film with a good plot, and the teens weren't super annoying or anything.
