Movies out! New Cartoon is in!

A joint production with Cartoon Network and Takara (The Company that Made the Transformers) "Transformers: Animated" is said to air along side with the movie DVD.

Featuring a VERY different art style, the new toon is made with 6 to 11 year olds in mind, But that won't stop us hardcores and Trans-fan in general.

Looks good. I'll see it. Definitely. I've heard that the animation is by Mook DLE, who did Swat Kats.

This looks interesting. I don't have high hopes for it being any good, considering it's aimed at such a young group, but I'm gonna check it out anyway.

I must admit that being something of a die-hard G1 fan (not as much as the other fans I know though), I am not really keen on the look of this new animated series.

I am not overly fond of this animation style, and would have preferred if they stuck with the Cybertron/Galaxy Force CG enhanced style, minus the humans (of course).

Having said that, I am willing to attempt to watch the series without any prejudice and hope that in the process I will be pleasantly surprised.

LOL @ Your hate Eric. Hope the Bay does not notice? Newsflash. I would bet anything the only reason they are doing a new show is the money and attention that Bays verson has gathered. So if you like the new Cartoon, you can thank Bay for making it happen for you.

Is this the new one? I think they mentioned it on Titansgo.net then. It has some people who worked on Teen Titans in it, like some artists. Tara Strong is also in it, but as a little girl and not one of the actual transformers.

I learned that Soundwave is a Scion XB. Cool!
