See it. Don't avoid it just 'cause it is rated G and the theater is filled with five year olds. Pixar strikes again.

Eh, it happens even when you go to see Harry Potter and Spiderman (minus the rated G bit).

At first the movie didn't look appealing to me, and then I remember that it's Pixar and NOT Disney (I got quite mixed up with Meet the Robinsons before and thought that it was Pixar). And now... it looks like quite the cute movie^^ Pixar has yet to fail to impress me^^ I think I shall check it out... Maybe not in theaters though^^ Some movies with kids in them and the talking... yeesh. Teens all sounding tough and trash-talking (or just plain blah blah blahing) Spiderman when I was in it... yeah great way to try and enjoy something :/

EDIT: Keep forgetting that I haven't seen Cars yet^^

Oh and also, apparently Pixar's new movie's teaser is out: about a robot named Wall E. Neat^^ Those guys just don't quit!

Saw it today, loved it. I agree, you shouldn't let the rating and kids keep you from going. It's an awesome movie. Hardly an aspect I can complain about!

I agree to. It's REALLY good and don't let the G fool you.

Not only was the movie awesome, "Lifted" was worth seeing all by itself.

I LOVE PIXAR! I LOVE PIXAAAR! CANNON BALL! *chomp* (TGS refrence)

I'm a Pixar fanboy, so I don't need to be told to see it. I'm seeing it this Sunday. The WALL-E trailer is enough to make it worth it. XD

I SAW IIIT!!
I LOOOVED IT!!!

Gosh Pixar is amazing! the detail that this movie had was simply amazing! I mean you can see Remy's heart beating under his fur! Like a rodent! I could almost feel the vibration!

*drools* it was so beautiful too...

I've seen just about all of Pixar's movies, so I'll probably end up checking this out too. Pixar has failed to disappoint me yet.

I think John Ratzenberger aka 'Cliff Clavin' from Cheers is supposed to be in it.

Um...I'm pretty sure he's been in every Pixar movie there is. Ever.

*checks* Yep, he has.

Toy Story 1 & 2 - Hamm
A Bug's Life - P.T. Flea
Monsters Inc. - The Abominable Snowman
Finding Nemo - Fish School
Cars - Mack
Ratatouille - Mustafa

Unfortunately, I didn't catch it this time. He must have been using a different tone then his normal voice...

Anyways, I saw it today. The short Lifted was cutely fun. (If that word can be used.) As for Ratatouille, well, being a Pixar fanboy. What did you expect?

And to further the comments on the animation quality, I definitely think some photo realism is starting to appear. The scene with Remy looking through spices was so detailed (the spice holder and the containers) it would be hard to tell the difference. And I adored every moment of the backgrounds. So beautiful...

As for the story, I think it was well told. A few scenes, I felt, needed a little more or a little less expanding, but overall it was well done. My favorite scene was near the end with Mr. Ego and his review. I wish someone would have written it down. It was worthy of being a signature.

Overall, a stunning performance as usual. And I can't wait for WALL-E in 2008.

I'm seeing it either Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, but I still can't wait. It looks soooo good. I'm most definitely a Pixar fan as well. ^_^

Ratzenberger talked about it when he was interviewed on Fox News Channel.
Interesting enough he's giving his kids a religious education, when asked why
he stated that:"When you teach your children it's ok to believe in anything they'll
end up believing in nothing."

That doesn't make any sense. It is okay to believe in anything, and if you don't think that's okay to believe in anything, that's too bad, because of freedom of religion. It's my life, let me choose what I think is real and what's not.

Phew. Enough of that...

Anyway, I'm surprised that no one has mentioned how awesome Patton Oswalt is. His comedy CD is killer and turned me on to the movie. His new CD is coming out really soon, so I'm happy. His apocalypse bit is perhaps the funniest thing I've ever heard next to David Cross' material.

Saw it today. Highly enjoyed it, but I didn't see a Pixar tradition anywhere. Usually, they stick references to past Pixar films in their movies (with the exception of Toy Story since that was the first).
