Wow, 50 years. I used to watch this show alot when i was a kid during spring break and during the summer, 11 am like every day...

It's not the final taping of Price is Right. It's the final appearance of Bob Barker on it, that's all... XD

Yeah I was wondering there if they were gunna have a fill in or not^^ Still won't be the same... I never did notice with the "still holding his trademark microphone with the old-fashioned cord" part... it always seemed normal to me^^
Heh, I guess fangirls can't make those "We Love Bob" hats and shirts to give to him anymore^^

Wow. All my life and now he is retiring. His quotes in the article on CNN were funny though. I don't know if I'll watch the show or not. I'll have to see.

Bob Barker is one in a million. End of story. If he goes, I don't see "The Price is Right" going on. I had NO idea he was 83 years old! He looks GREAT!!! At least he's leaving on top! Rock on Bob, Rock on!

micah and i along with some of his friends went to one of their tapings when we were down in CA...=_= it's an all day event...get up at 4 am to get in line...then wait forever at the studio till like...3pm or 5pm before the taping happens...yeah...i was tired after that...the announcer said that when he saw the show as a kid, the original announcer challenged him to do better than him at announcing...well the old announcer was afraid of the kids talent lol. hope that didn't confuse you guys. ^^,

Yeah,the paper said that they had people camping out all night just to be able to get a spot in the final taping.FYI:I believe Bill Cullen did The Price Is Right before
Bob Barker.As you may know Barker was doing Truth Or Consequences prior to
The Price Is Right.When they did the retrospective,last week I believe,they also showed a clip of an episode of Bonaza he did.He took the girl away from Michael
