I saw that earlier this week. I prayed for death...and that was just the teaser.

When your tagline is "OMG!"...no, wait, that speaks for itself. XD Ah...brought to you by the genius who gave us Raise Your Voice...

Man. The decline of good movies is just sad. XD

Look on the bright side, this just makes it much more easier to determine which movies are worth seeing via the process of elimination... :)

... wow....

You have got to be jokeing.

A crappy product seem to be getting a crappy movie, that's just great. I mean its not the first time it's happend. However I ceartainly 'hope' it will be the last.

Even worse, the movie seem to be a cheap imitation of a bad enough product.

Problem is, it sells like hotcakes to the target audience, which happens to be young girls at this area.

BANG! Yes, let's encourage young girls to all dress like prostitutes and be shallow bimbos! I think not.

Totally.

Is anyone else here in agreement that a major chunk of the media is what's corrupting our country? I mean, whoever came up with this obviously wants all of our country's young girls to imitate this, right? And because some parents will most likely just go, "Oh, how cute" and buy it for their daughter, they'll be aiding the corrupted part of the media in de-moral-izing our country. It seems to be working for them in other areas...they probably just realized that the youth are the future.

Yes, there are some good people and things in the media, but there's so much bad stuff as well. So please don't come after me assuming that I think all media is evil...that's so not the case.

No.

The company behind the Bratz toys (MGA Entertainment) does not produce clothing or makeup. They don't care if girls imitate it because they don't make money that way. They make money by two ways:

1. People come and see this movie.

2. Girls buy Bratz toys.

Beyond that, they don't care. "Watch our movie, buy our toys." Whether you act or dress like that, they don't give a crap, because it's not profit for them.

And besides, companies and movie producers don't want anyone imitating their movies anyway, because that turns into potential lawsuits for them. You know how sue-happy the population is, and anything they can blame for their own problems, they will. Companies don't want this.

At any rate, I'm simply against this movie because it's so vapid and worthless. But the toys are popular I assume, so the movie will likely make money from parents taking their younger girls.

Yet another reason for me to not have children. XD

Oh, okay. There are still going to be a bunch of imitators for sure, though.

So what's the point of this thread? <.< There's a lot of stuff to bash in the world, but just sitting around pointing fingers at it isn't going to help anything. We laugh and look down on this movie, but a lot of the movies we watch aren't any better, they're just different. There may be people out there who would enjoy this movie, who knows?

It is a bit scary, though.

Because, good sir. There are bad films in this world that are still better than this one.

i loled. Then I watched the trailer. And wished I'd dismembered myself with my own bare hands instead. Now Avril is stuck in my head AGAIN for the fifth time this month.

Bratz: Because high school is all about overthrowing the lunch break queen.

Btw, is it just me, or are those dolls the most hideous things you've ever seen?

Being a kid, I was generally bummed out by how infrequently my parents ever took me out to the movie theater. And I always wanted to know why, too.

Films like these clue me in.

Unfortunately it's all too common with films, books, music, ect.

I was actually expecting worse. Maybe after playing Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing I've been a bit too spoiled with terrible media. XD
