I just have to say, I am SO glad I decided to randomly stop on an old looking show today while watching TV, because it turned out to be the original Power Rangers. Yes, that's right, the original ORIGINAL Power Rangers - 恐竜戦隊ジュウレンジャー. I had known that the American Power Rangers was simply a remake of a Japanese show with some dubbing and new scenes, but I never thought I would actually watch it. There is only one female!! Mei, the pink ranger! And they all wear such obvious clothing that screams I AM A POWER RANGER!! It was so awesome!!

So...yeah...that's all I wanted to say...
Here are the opening and ending sequences:

Have you ever seen the Dinothunder episode:'Lost In Translation'?
All it is is Conner,Kira,Trent and Ethan sitting around watching an episode of the Japanese version on Ethan's computer. It's pretty hilarious. It's also one of the few American PR episodes where there isn't any or much action(another one is the Dinothunder episode where Tommy basically gives a
videotaped history of the PR from the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to the Dinothunder Rangers).

Actually it's part of a show called "Super Sentai Series" that has different sentai shows. That's why PW is a bunch of spinoffs, each one being a different sentai show. Like "MMAR", "Zeo", "Turbo", "Space", "Lost Galaxy", "Lightspeed Rescue", "Time Force", "Wild Force", "Ninja Storm", "Dino Thunder", "S.P.D.", "Mystic Force" and finally "Operation Overdrive".

I while ago I bought a raw DVD box set of Zyuranger on Ebay. It's pretty amusing. I think it's actually MORE kiddy than the american version. The DVDs are scratched though, so I only made it up to the Dragon Ranger episodes.
