Has anyone else here seen this movie? It's spectacular! Anyone who likes Motown or musicals should definitely see this movie. Unfortunately it has a lot of bad language, but all the performances are excellent. And Jennifer Hudson, one of my favorite American Idol contestants, was the best one in the movie. Her acting was great and her singing was so good that most of the audience clapped after her main solo. I can't say enough good things about this movie!

According to the Entertaniment section of the paper the movie is loosely based on
Diana Ross and the Supremes.Diana Ross however has not had the time to sit down and watch it yet.

The movie is based directly on a musical by the same name. The musical was probably based loosely on Diana Ross and the Supremes, but not officially.
