eh doesnt mean that it still wont be made but, they were really pushing a huge budget, microsoft should have just gone with the original ammount and paid any extras.

Hm. I was mildly disappointed until I actually read the article; it seems unlikely that we won't get our Halo movie. Hopefully this film will be worthwhile as well as entertaining, as I feel Bungie has attempted to make solid showings in the different mediums they have brought Halo into. We could always use more respectable video game movies.

That would be an interesting line of joking to pursue, actually. Probably better suited in the gamer forum, though...

Discussion of Uwe Boll should actually be banned on any board. Hopefully the Halo movie gets made right.

That's more or less just a confirmation of what people have been saying. I wonder if Microsoft will actually try to do this alone. Given how popular the franchise is, they might feel the potential payoff is worth the risk. However, I wonder how much of an overall audience a Halo movie would get? All the fans would go see it, but I imagine a film would need mainstream moviegoers to be successful.

Only reason why I want to watch it is to see how bad it would have been.
