Um, OK. That's fine. I guess.

Tom -
It's really not that hard. Go through the steps to make your team. You don't have to worry too much about drafting - the computer will do it for you, although you can change how the computer drafts for you.

I'm probably going to sit it out this year. I'm in 2 leagues already. (You should have set it up earlier, bro. :P )

But I will say this league last year really was the one that got me semi-hooked on Fantasy Football. I'd give it a  to anyone thinking about joining (that is, as long as you're not too time-consumed already ;) ).

Yeah, I was in three leagues last year. It was managable, but confusing. I could never remember who to root for. ^_^

I'll try to remember to set it up in early August next year.

The draft has been set - it will be just the four of us.

Should have some "interesting" teams this year with the talent divided only four ways.

The teams have been drafted!

You may want to go and give them the once over before tomorrow's game.

The Valkyires would like to announce that Terrel Owens practiced today.

He practiced for three hours and had a light lunch consisting of a bottle of water and some fresh fruit. He then took a nap for about ten minutes before the afternoon session.

It is expected that he will practice for half a day tomorrow with Saturday being too far out to predict.

Yo...if we be losin this week...it be because we ain't got no d yo! The d need to get its act together yo! Or else we be weepin when it comes to playoff time...

Seriously...if termyt manages to beat me...it will be because I have no defense...no really...I don't...I'm like the Arizona Cardinals (or Lousiville Cardinals...) I can put up a lot of points, but at the same time, I can't stop anyone...so...yeah...yay offense...please do good...your all I have...

I picked up a few Jags defenders who are pretty good. Michael Peterson and John Henderson especially. I need a good RB though!

Yeah - and you probably ought not start a guy with "NA" next to his name, either.

Just so you know, TO had an unexpected full day of practice today. He worked out with a trainer for about three hours in the morning and then had a nice, long soak in a hot tub. He then ate a sandwich and some apple sclices before being tucked into bed for a nice afternoon nap. After his nap, he played outside with his teammates for a few hours.

Man. Doesn't anyone anywhere in the football sports world care about anything else?

Well...I'm glad I just fixed that problem...but honestly, I really don't think any of my other (old) options would of done much better...of course...you can never really know...

Indeed. I am dismayed by the lack of production of my starters this week. It stinks to out score every team in the league by like thirty points except the team you are playing ^_^

But hey, my bench scored really well - so at least I have that going for me.

Wow...I actually won...I'm shocked...my hodgepodge defense that I threw together in the last minute actually came through for me...YAY DEFENSE (...ok...it also helped that
Vinatieri earned 14 points...and the fact that Carson Palmer scored next to no fantasy points also helped me...)
My bench also did really good...I'm still kicking myself for not starting Donavan McNabb against Houstan...especially when I had a feeling that he was going to have a big game...and my best reciever (so far) was not one of my Cardinals...but Plexico Burress...yay bench people!

Yeah, I was very disappointed with my team. I was also saddened by the fact that I out scored the other two teams by 30 points and still came away with a loss.

Ah well, I'll get you week after next.

W00t!!!! I got a win!!! This is truley amazing since I played...... *goes back and counts* 4 people who didn't even play >.>.

Biggest contributers were...... Tom Brady (who played fairly well against the Bills, except for the fumble on the first play of the game >.<), Fred Taylor (Looked very good against Dallas. Especially that touchdown run he had. Is really starting to look like the Freddy T of old.) and Brian Westbrook (Didn't see the game, so can't really comment on it.) Here's hoping that the four I started that were injured will be able to play next week.

I added Ray Lewis to my line up and cut BJ Sams...seeing as how Ray should have a much better year now that the Raven's have gotten a offense that can actually put a drive together...Now my D should be fine...I hope...

Since WrestlingOtaku did this...I might as well too

Peanut's Top Performers Week 1:

QB: D. McNabb (I'm still kicking myself for not starting him...even though I won...)

RB: L. Tomlinsan (sure...he didn't reach what they had projected for him...but he was close enough...)

WR: P. Buress (Another player who I benched week 1...yeah...all of my top performers seemed to have been benched...though I really didn't think Buress was going to have as good of a game he did...)

D: -T. McGee (The man I am truly impressed with...wow...he REALLY did well...)
-M Greenwood (Another one I benched...but honestly...when you have someone who gets you 16 points...I don't think it matters...)

K: VINATERI (Greatest kicker ever...as long as he keeps that up...)

People who I am disappointed with:

C. Chambers (Thanks for nothing...)

P. Manning (Thanks for rubbing in my mistake of not starting Donvan McNabb...)

S. Alexander (Yes...I know he isn't on my team...but really...I expect better from the League MVP against Detroit...YAY MADDEN CURSE!!!!)

Well...it looks as if I have won again(unless Hines Ward...wait...no...I think its safe to say I won)...

You are shaping upt to be quite the juggernaught, Peanut.

by Peanut
Well...next week should be a big week for me seeing as how that's when the Chargers have a bye and the Colts are facing the Jaguars...so, Tomlinson is useless this week and Peyton Manning shouldn't have anywhere near the game he had this last sunday...We shall see if I stay in my juggernaught-ish state.

PostPosted: Wed Sep 27, 2006 1:03 pm

So...what was that about me being a Juggernaught?

I'm sure you'll be on your A-game this week. You're playing me, after all. The Pandas doubled their total points when they played me.

Nope...unless Woodson has an amazing game and Trotter does absolutely nothing...I have lost yet again...the good news is, it looks as if we will all simply be tied for first place...
